ENVIRONMENTAL DAY CELEBRATION-REPORT

Nalanda International Public school celebrated the World Environment Day on 6th June, 2016 with great aplomb and enthusiasm. As part of the “Environmental Day” students indulged in sowing of seeds and planting saplings which was undertaken in the school premises with students and faculty members in the evening. The focus of this event is to create an eco friendly relationship between students and the environment through a process of experience, reflection and creation and even with an aim to save nature and to create awareness among children to grow more trees.

On this occasion, our beloved Principal Dr.C.Anthony Raj, inaugurated the function by sowing seeds and earlier through a speech emphasizing the importance of safe guarding mother earth and nature,.

The teachers briefed the students on the steps of seed germination and the process of plant growth. The activity winded up at 3:30 pm with every student’s active participation.

The event concluded with a mission in everyone’s mind, i.e., “Join The Race To Make The Earth A Better Place”.
